I went to Ikea!!
Love it there! Love the people I was with and we had a lovely time. The only thing I bought was Chocolate. I was very restrained...I would have loved to buy so many gorgeous things, if only my house was bigger...
I also got to catch up with an old friend which was great.
And most importantly, I did some sewing!! (Not at Ikea, when I came home).
The issue is, I was working on some secret stuff again, so I can't show you yet. I am about to do some more sewing though, so hopefully tomorrow I'll have something new to show you.
For tonight, I thought I'd show you a couple of the quilt tops I have ready for basting...
1. "Adorable" panel from Mum a couple of years ago.
2. Heather Bailey jelly roll...gorgeous fabrics, but I'm not sold on the border. It was just something else I had and at the time I didn't mind it, but now I'm not so sure...
3. Spring Fling kit another gift from Mum, from Gail B. Also a few years ago. I love this and even more this time. I really do need to get on with finishing these...
Sorry this one's not so exciting tonight, hopefully I'll be able to show you more progress tomorrow, but I'm attending a funeral which is a couple of hours drive away from home, so I may not get much time or have the energy when I get home to do too much sewing...
