"Texture"
This is a photo of a chest of drawers that belong to my Husband. They were given to him along with 2 wooden suitcases, by his Great Nanna Glady. They are pretty retro and ugly, but special to us. They were actually made for her by a friend of their family, using off-cuts from the Indian Pacific. For those of you that aren't familiar with it, the Indian Pacific is a train which was named after the oceans that it travels between: The Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.

It made its first passenger trip from Sydney to Perth in 1970, and still runs today and actually passes my house, so that's pretty cool. The drawers and suitcases are different to anything else we own, but I don't think we will ever part with them.
Anyway, I guess I'll be back tomorrow with another photo and maybe some more random stuff to tell you...Goodnight!
