The Letter
Today's photo was "Letter". I immediately pictured my kids in the shape of a letter fo the alphabet like on Sesame Street. Cute, but not very exciting. And then after a big day out we came home and found this:
It is a letter, but it wasn't for any of us.
It made me think.
Although I know who it really is for and who it is from, I did wonder for a moment whether it was something else.
It could be a letter from a long lost relative, writing to tell Mr Paul that he needs to contact them with regard to a large sum of money left to him by someone he never met.
It could be from the Dentist with a bill for his 14 fillings.
It could be tickets to see the Cirque Du Soleil in the big top.
It could be a letter from his Grandpa telling him all about the good old days and why these young hooligans are ruining the planet.
It could be a party invitation.
It could be a job acceptance letter for a position far better than the one he applied for.
Maybe it's a letter from his girlfriend telling him about the ring she wants for their engagement and a catalogue with the picture circled in a red pen.
It could be from the power company saying there was an error and they have overpaid their bills for the past 6 years and they now have $3000 in credit.
It could be from the bank with the new credit card waiting to be authorised.
Mr Paul may have lost his wallet and this is a letter from the lost property office at Central Station with his business card and $20 attached.
Anyway, enough maybes. It was something much more boring, and no I didn't read it, I just know who it's from. And yes, I will get it to the intended recipient.
I'm thinking of changing what my blog is about. It has been suggested that I make a craft blog and I was thinking maybe something including a tutorial each week or something like that. Please please let me know what you think. I'm thinking that it could be hard work to stick to something to full-on, but it may also be good for me, so any ideas would be appreciated.
Oh, and before I go, who likes competitions? Leave a comment to let me know whether you're interested and I'll see what I can do about arranging one. If there is enough interest that is...
See you tomorrow!
