Needle plate that is. Yep, this is sewing machine number 4 in my house at the moment (real ones that is). Look how cute it is!!! It is by far the cutest of my real machines! I have a really retro and awesome machine from my Grandma's which is pretty cute, but I'll take a photo of that for another post.
It's a mini version of a real machine made in 1974. It has a real bobbin, foot pedal and a hard case. It really works and I love it. The yellow book you can see is the instruction manual and on the back it even tells you how to make a dolly dress. Cute! I found it online and my awesome Sister picked it up for me today, which I completely forgot she was doing. It was so exciting to see that she had it for me!
I thought it would be a sweet addition to my studio (when I get it) and in the meantime a bit of fun for My assistant and I. When hubby saw it he thought it was a camping sewing machine. It's not really, but I could definitely use it as one. The bobbin doesn't hold very much thread though, so maybe only for teeny projects.
Anyway, I'm sure everyone who wasn't convinced before is certainly convinced now that I'm a true addict.
Are you a fabric addict? Let me know how you can tell...
See you tomorrow! Goodnight!!
